My Move!

I would just like to thank the movers who represented the moving squad during my move back to my home. I highly recommend them. The movers worked quickly and effeciently and they were so professional. I felt very comfortable as I watched them work and handle my furniture with so much care. Thank you guys! I also would like to say that the Moving Squad I have found to be a very reputable company who honors their word. I will be recommending this company to others I know!

Everything looked fine and I'm very very happy.

The Moving Squad team was so great to me when I moved and I wanted to write this review for anyone who's thinking about hiring them. My experience was flawless. They actually arrived 15 min before they said they would, loaded everything into their moving truck and were on their way in under three hours (and I have a large house). They encouraged me to check everything as they took if off the truck to make sure nothing was damaged.

The Moving Squad set me up over the phone with what they call a 'moving coordinator' who was very hellpful. I wish I could remember her name in case they read these things (maybe Jen?) but she couldn't have been nicer and more patient with me. I've never moved before so I was completely confused about how companies like this charge you buit she explained it to me. I also had to call back a few times and because I had to add some items and whoever I spoke to was always very kind. The move itself was good but it's the people at Moving Squad who I think made the move really easy.

They were nice and friendly but got off to a pretty slow start really slow but I stressed I didnt have anything but the amount that was quated and they unloaed in less tha half the time.. But they were great and helped a little extra with arranging the heavy furnitur since I tore up my knee. Over all experience was great and will refer to friends and family in the futur adn will call when and if we move again hopefully than into our New Home!! Thanks again for everything.

So I feel like the experience I had moving with Moving Squad is probably the best experience I've had with movers to date. They were honest, straightforward about what I was being charged for, and everything was delivered when they said it wouild be, with no damage to anything. An honest moving company seems like an oximoron but I feel like I was always told exactly what was happening and never lied to or taken advantage of.

I'm very impressed with the Moving Squad staff. The phone operators (called 'moving coordinators') were very very helpful and it's obvious that whoever I spoke to had some experience in the ins and outs of moving. She seemed knowledgable about weight and estimating what she thought my stuff would come out to be once it was weighed. She was right on target (actually a few lbs over, so I ended up paying less). Happy with everything.

They always returned phone calls promptly and answered questions clearly when i had them . I've had some not so great moving experiences the last few times i moved so i was really pleasantly surprized with how on the ball they were. If i was moving again sometime soon, i would most definitely use moving squad.

Good customer service with Moving Squad.

I felt like Mark Printz was honest with me on the phone about the my moving estimate. Everything he estimated my items to be sounded reasonable and he told me he'd been working for this company for years. The estimate was dead on, my stuff came on time and I could tell that the guys who moved everything were working hard to make sure they moved everything quickly. (in the snow and up three flights of stairs)

Very satisfied. I don't have that much stuff (I move around a lot for work) so it was either hiring a moving company or just packing everything into boxes myself and shipping it to my new place. I think it was actually cheaper to use Colonial Van Lines. I also didn't have to pack much myself. The movers came and disassembled the futon in my living room and took my tv off the wall in my bedroom for me. I didn't have to do that much and it look them under an hour to do everything. My stuff was delivered when they said it would be and the movers actually set up the futon in my new apartment too. Good company and skilled movers from what I saw.

Definitely not a bad service. I would recommend them. I had a lot of questions because I can't remember the last time I moved. They called me and the "moving coordinator" (that's what the person helping you is called) asked me specific questions about what I was moving(how many beds, TVs, dressers...) and estimated the weight. The actual weight was a few pounds over the estimate, which was kind of annoying, but it was fine I guess. The guys who came were nice enough and knew that they were doing as they piled all my stuff in the truck. Overall a good experience, although I did have to pay a little extra for my stuff (like 12 bucks)

Even though I was moving a 1 bedroom apartment, I wanted to hire movers because I was moving all my stuff out of an apartment that's on the third floor of an apartment complex. I was really hesitant because I was worried about the price. I called around at different companies and Moving Squad sounded the best and most professional. I spoke with Roger and quoted me a price that was only $20 more than what the other companies are offering but he assured me that it's worth it. His guys are professionals, they don't hire day laborers, and they do random drug testing on them. Moving Squad will loan you wardrobe boxes so you don't have to fold all the clothes in your closet. They'll also shrink wrap your dressers so you don't have to fold the clothes in their as well.

Two guys came to my apartment on my move day and loaded their huge truck with all my stuff. They covered my furniture with heavy duty blankets and strapped them to the truck so they didn't get damaged during the move. The whole move was very quick and was shorter than expected. They guys work by the hour so the total cost of my move was a lot cheaper than what I was quoted. I was so happy I chose the Moving Squad.

I want to thank Roger for helping me in coordinating my move from Parkland FL to Houston TX. The driver (Elias) and his helpers were great. It was extra hard being as they were working while it was raining 1/2 the day. My weight was slightly off but I couldn't remember all the junk I've collected through the years. Elias was on time and very helpful on what to take and not to take in the truck. I will call Moving Squad should I ever move again and I will refer my family and friends.
